Emilio Barbi

Dr. Emilio Barbi, a specialist in “Diagnostic Imaging” since 1986, trained professionally at the school of the late Prof. Gianfranco Pistolesi, one of the great Masters of Italian Radiology and founding father of the prestigious Veronese Radiological School. In his career – which began over 35 years ago – he has been pre-eminently interested in Ultrasound. For over 20 years he has been head of the Ultrasound Section of the Pederzoli Hospital in Peschiera del Garda; He works outside the hospital at the Legs Medical Institute. His previous academic activity and his current hospital care have led him to collaborate with Specialist Doctors of almost all branches, allowing him to acquire great experience in many fields of Medicine, Surgery (including Paediatric), Urology and Andrology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and Surgery, etc.
For many years he has been collaborating with Prof. Lorenzo Tessari, with whom he has developed a specific protocol for the morphological and functional study of female pelvic varicocele.
